Yes, RtMidi although there are still issues - the recording is buggy at the
moment in particular and it needs a lot more testing. I’ve been trying to
build up a head of steam to do something about it and audio and plugins - or at
least merge in latest head changes to the bitbucket repository I created:

The reason I put it in here was generally because of the nausea around SF sub
projects and also I wanted to play around with Hg. I did however receive an
update just the other day saying the SF subprojects issue might be resolved now
so perhaps it’s worth looking at putting it back into a branch on SVN. It
might even be the case that the stuff on the branch in SVN is exactly the same
as the stuff here but it’s been so long now I can’t remember.
Or just feel free of course to ignore all that. I was vaguely thinking about
this plan of attack:
- merge latest head
- fix some MIDI bugs
- examine some audio implementation (maybe even just RtAudio)
- Qt5? Possibilities for mobile.

Yes I'm aware of it, and it's an excellent suggestion to take a look at his
stuff. He's using RTMidi if memory serves.
My work sent me to the ACCU conference this week. Listening to Bjarne
Stroustrup talking on C++11 has fired my C++ enthusiasm again :-)
