   Ah, ok.  Then that's most likely something else.  MIDI recording with 
rg just sets off lots of alarms in my mind.  And some of what you 
describe happening to the notes sounds familiar from my playing with the 
Beethoven piece.

   (And who knows, it could be that recording isn't working properly but 
the problems only come out after saving.  I wouldn't be surprised.  In 
fact, something about this sounds really familiar.)

   At any rate, feel free to open a bug report and we'll get to it 
eventually.  I'm focusing on the MIDI recording performance problems 
right now as I have neglected that for the past four months.  It's way 
overdue for some attention.

   If you have a priority list of issues that are affecting you, that 
would be helpful in planning.
