It did in fact go smoothly.  The only entanglement was that in the tuplet
rewrite, I had made a file "TimeT.h" to contain timeT and a few other time
typedefs, because otherwise I was dragging Event.h into all sorts of
places that had little to do with Events.  I just copied that file to
trunk, and all was well; compiled, runs; I'm listening to it play my stuff
now.

Since that went well, I'll commit the bugfixes to trunk now.
