Ok, I've got a procedure that works every time now: - Launch rg. - Make the window rather large, but not full screen. - Zoom all the way out to 2.5%. - Delete tracks until you've only got 1 midi track. - Grab the lower right corner and make the window very small, both horizontally and vertically. Enough so that the horizontal scrollbar appears. - Grab the lower right corner and make the window very large, but not full screen. - Repeat the resizes until crash. I have animated resize enabled on my desktop, which exacerbates the problem considerably. I assume it generates many resize messages while resizing. If I resize to small rather slowly, it crashes along the way, right about when the horizontal scrollbar should appear. r13912 was preventing the effects of zooming all the way out to 2.5% which is why it appeared to fix the crash. The crash happens along with many of these in the debug output: RosegardenScrollView::updateBottomWidgetGeometry So that's a clue anyway. Might be some sort of endless loop.
