Odd, I can't reproduce a crash this way.
I still have Tito's patch for the moment.
I don't have animated resize enabled - I use Sawfish, which is rather leaner.
I also wonder if it has anything to do with the version of QT. I'm using
QT 4:4.8.2-dfsg-1.
