It makes me comfortable that you weren't trying to fix something.  I 
went so far as to open a .mid file in a hex editor and bang on the 
keyboard to insert random garbage and corrupt the file.  The strings 
that got invoked upon failure were translated just fine.

The gathering step never misses a beat (for example, we now have 
references to QOject in the files, thanks to my haste).  The problem has 
always been getting Qt to find the right strings at runtime.

Nobody else really needs to worry about it as long as I'm around.
