I was going to go into the event editor today and track it down but severe weather here kept me from bringing the studio up. Thanks for the work around. Separately, I note that the present version of RoseGarden (rev 14243) is not particularly NetJack friendly. It is not a big deal as the work around is to use a2jmidid (http://home.gna.org/a2jmidid/) but new Linux/ALSA/Jack applications should really provide a MIDI out port to a running NetJack MIDI port automatically. This is useful for those of us who use multiple Linux boxes to act as synthesizers. The audio aspects of NetJack and RoseGarden work fine (as in recording and playback from yet another box that just renders/routes audio and patches MIDI). I've also compiled rev 14243 on a second Debian Squeeze box. This one is an Intel Core 2 Quad with AMD OpenCL (and corresponding ffmpeg) installed. The first Squeeze install was on a Intel Core 2 Duo with dual NVidea SLI cards (1980 CUDA cores), again with the corresponding OpenCL development libraries and ffmpeg. So the calls to the proprietary AMD and NVidea libraries work with RoseGarden (and directly and indirectly it calls them alot). The response is snappy :-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Rosegarden-devel mailing list [email protected] - use the link below to unsubscribe https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/rosegarden-devel
