is typically needed for a database schema change.

Don't be naive. The's lots more to a schema change than can
be captured in DB_CONFIG. ANd all trhat you will end up
poisioning is the ability of rpm to use an rpmdb.

Note that you got _LUCKY_ with %posttrans so far. WOuld
you like to wager how long its gonna take before the
1st *serious* issue resulting from changing a live/active
rpmdb on the fly?

I think you have less than 45 days before that bug report
comes in.
