Hi When I started this topic, I failed to mention two things. I used a harness because the diesel is DCC ready, and I didn't use the harness that came with the Digitrax DH163PS. So I'm going to use the correct harness and see if there is a difference. I wouldn't think so, but we'll see. At least I know that I didn't do anything wrong with the wiring since I didn't hardwire the decoder. Ed Davis
