We are a Canadian Recruiting Firm (Business Partners in Montreal, Toronto,
Vancouver, Chicago, Boston and New-York city) and we are presently looking for
motivated candidates for our North-American Corporate clients in CFD/Mechanical
engineering area (Permanent and Contract Positions available in 2009-2010).
Assist new product development engineering with integration of new products,
both buy/sell and internally manufactured, into production.
Project management of implementation of new manufacturing processes and new
product development efforts.
Optimization of current manufacturing processes and development of new
manufacturing processes utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Effective design and operation of manufacturing processes, machines, tooling,
and documentation.
Manage cost reduction efforts including global sourcing of components and
processes.
Comprehensive knowledge of general mechanical engineering and mechanical design
principles and practices.
Direct experience managing the global sourcing of components and processes is
required.
Extensive project management experience in product development and
manufacturing environments.
Practical experience applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to continuous
improvement and new product introduction efforts is required.
Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
Experience with Microsoft Project software is a plus.
Required to travel domestically and internationally.
Ability to work independently and in team situation.
