I have started on a PowerShell script to do some automation of the export, xml modification, and import but that doesn't work for editing existing task sequences. It created a new one on the import.
I haven't found any easy way to make mass changes to task sequences via script, WMI, or SQL. I would recommend editing one task sequence the way you see fit then using copy/paste or drag/drop to copy the steps to the other 49 task sequences. We have to do this today but we only have about 20 task sequences.
