I solved the problem deleting, with Qxlwinreader, config file in the unreadable
file and copying an old config from a backup qxl.win. Now it’s all’ OK.
Thank you very much for your advice. Have a nice night.

I have reproduced the problem with Q-emulator. I get not enough memory
when I try to attach a 1 GB QXL.win file. I set the QL to as much memory

Does anyone know if there is a limit on qxl.win sizes supported by Q-emuLator?
My QPC2 system has a 1GB qxl.win. QemuLator will not seem to recognise this –
it just says ‘PATH NOT FOUND’ when I try to attach it to a drive slot.
So I tried editing the Default.CFG file to “force” it to find it.
Seems, that QemuLator suffers from a Sandy virus.;-)

There is a QUANTA Library QXL.WIN file on CD done by Darren Brannah some

Having followed the thread I am a little puzzled.
If large files are a burden to access time why not use smaller QXL.WINs ?

Confirmed, as long as you use the correct parameters, 'cp' will fully
duplicate everything. Whoever ported it did a good job.

Evening John,
Thanks for yet more explaining. I discovered (!) that if I take the

Multiply that by the number of sectors
