RE: [abcusers] spam
On my Linux box I'm filtering with procmail. SpamPal works on Windows systems. It behaves as an e-mail server that gets between e-mail addresses and any Windows e-mail program in use. It ain't perfect, but can be configured to filter most spam. There are probably other programs that do a similar job. One of the bits of evidence is that messages to the list have the line: Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The above message has a Reply-To line giving another address, which is probably a machine that will deal with your reply (and list your address as a known-good address ;-). This message probably came from someone who has both you and abcusers-list in their address book. Their machine is infected with one of the Outlook viruses or such that is turning their machine into a spam relay. Most of them cover the tracks, so you can't trace it back to the original spam sender. To subscribe/unsubscribe, point your browser to: http://www.tullochgorm.com/lists.html
