I have just tried compiled Linux kernel v2.6.33 and snd-ml403-ac97cr device was also not detected. I attach the results that I run alsa-info.sh on my XUPV2P board. Please do not compress attachments. And if you have to do it in the future please do not use non-free formats as RAR. Could you please resend your message with an uncompressed output of `alsa-info.sh`. Thanks, Paul I resend one of files that is output of alsa-info.sh (I'm not sure what are options that I have to chose when using alsa-info.sh, that is reasons I have to RAR) Thanks Binh NT alsa-info.txt.XpCmbg1966 Description: Binary data -- Download Intel#174; Parallel Studio Eval Try the new software tools for yourself. I resend one of files that is output of alsa-info.sh Thanks. Unfortunately there is nothing really useful listed in there. I definitely would suggest to contact Xilinx since they are the distributor and should know how to get things going under their system. Other things coming to my mind is to get on IRC and try to talk to the developers there, try a different GNU/Linux distribution or try to contact some PPC list. Maybe they are more responsive. (I'm not sure what are options that I have to chose when using alsa-info.sh, that is reasons I have to RAR) You can either upload the output to the WWW or save to a text file. This text file can be attached to an email message. I am sorry that I am not able to help further. Re: [Alsa-user] No ALSA device detected on XUPV2P
Dear all I discover that snd_ml403_ac97cr_probe function is not called after module ml403_ac97cr is init. Are there bugs in platform_driver_register function? (platform_driver_register function is call in alsa_card_ml403_ac97cr_init) Thanks Am Freitag, den 05.03.2010, 15:45 +0700 schrieb Binh T.
