I am looking forward to Sunday March 25th 2007 (when the clocks
change and for some reason BBC World Service and many other services
spend a few days sorting out the time displayed). I have never quite
understood why this happens, given the World Service works in GMT
(UTC) all year round (I worked in World Service Online for six
months).

Here is an example from the BBC Radio 4 Freeview service (taken on
March 28, 2006).

YMMV,

Putting on my official BBCi Producer hat, I /believe/ that issue should
be fixed now, and this year it /should/ work perfectly.

Everything seemed to work when the clocks changed last October as I
recall so I'm optimistic! :)

Looks like there's a bit of a problem with the schedule data from
Friday onwards. The API would appear to be similarly affected.

Whups, yeh looks like the API is
fine. I forgot to increase the limit, so it was only showing two days :)

RE: [backstage] World Service Schedule...Missing

2007-03-14 Thread Christopher Woods
On a related note (schedule information), I've noticed that Digiguide
doesn't offer listings information for some of the regional BBC stations
like BBC WM for example - it offers some but listings for stations like BBC
WM are only available on the BBC whatson subsite.

Is there a particular reason for this, or are the listings available
elsewhere in digiguide format so I can integrate them into my Digiguide
channel matrix?
