Subject: [Blind-Computing] E-Books Sent In PDF File

Hi All,

Is there any way to save an E-Book that was downloaded as a PDF file as a
text file or, an MP3 file? I have tried everything I know to do, which is
not much, haven't any success. I'm running XP Pro J13. All help will
be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
Take care.

to a more readable format using Openbook. Janet, I am going to download the
program you suggested give it a try as well. Thanks again to the both of

[Blind-Computing] AVG PC TuneUp, JAWS Scripts Help Please! Using Win7 JAWS12

2013-04-02 Thread Gena
Could someone help me locate where to find and download scripts for AVG PC
TuneUp? My husband bought a 2 year subscription and it is difficult for JAWS to
navigate through all of it easily. I have done many searches on the internet
but, I can not seem to find the actual scripts, only references to them being
out there somewhere. I’m very frustrated and need to set some of the settings
but, I do not seem to be able to navigate well enough without scripts to do so.
I’d really appreciate the help. I have never installed scripts before but, I
found instructions on how to do it and it does not sound difficult. If this is
not the place to ask for such help, can you tell me where the proper place is
to do so?

I am running Windows7 with all of the latest updates
I am also using JAWS 12 with all updates to that version.
I am running AVG Internet Security 2013 Free Edition and AVG PC TuneUp, latest
edition.

If you need more information about my computer, please let me know.

Again, thanks in advance for your help.
Your friend,
Gena

How about sending a new message to the list instead of replying to a current
thread?
That way you won't have to remember to change the subject line.
Remember to keep the subject line relevant to the topic, with no extraneous
text.
This will help members sort thru messages .
