The patch also includes some minor javadoc tidyups in the test classes. I believe that this enhanced test would report failure if Emmanuel's proposed was applied (changing CallMethodRule firing order), unlike the existing test, which would not report failure. I have not verified this by applying the patch, as I was not able to get it to apply cleanly. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

My issue isn't really with recursive structures, it just happened that the easiest test case i could think to demonstrate this issue was a recursive case. I tested the modified digester with Tomcat 4.1 and it does indeed break on startup. However all digester's test cases are running fine with this patch. Could you show me a quick example that would break on this patch please ? That might be worth adding it to the existing test cases. If you don't mind i'm reopening the bug, i'd like to provide a solution, either by adding a new rule to the digester's distribution, or by implementing this as an optional feature of the existing CallMethod rule. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: mailto:commons-dev-unsubscribe;jakarta.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: mailto:commons-dev-help;jakarta.apache.org
