PREACHER DIES AFTER RATTLESNAKE BITE
(from news services)
Jonesville- A preacher bitten by rattlesnake as he handled it during an
Easter service at a rural church died after refusing medical treatment,
authorities said.
The Rev. Dwayne Long died a day after being bitten on a finger during a
service at his church, where members believe ritual serpent handling is
a form of obedience to God, said Sheriff Gary Parsons.
We don't anticipate any charges, he said. That's their belief.

No one attending the service at the Pentecostal church sought medical
help, Parsons said. Members believe when people die from a snakebite
during a service, it is a sign that it was their time to go.

There is one problem with the idea that the governments are doing away
with these people as a purposeful policy. And that is what are they
doing with the bodies and why hasn't someone gone public with it? This
would not stay a state secret for long in todays world.
If the governments made the removal of these people a priority, they
would do nothing for them and let them die of exposure or the abuse of
drugs/alcohol.
Bill H

That's hundreds of thousands who are UNreported missing persons. How
do we
know? Because when the Ministry of Human Resources decided to use
radical methods to remove large numbers of welfare recipients from
its
rolls, it conducted Exit Surveys by its staff of research experts. In
the first two Exit Surveys, they were unable to find 2/3, ie 5,000
people. The research experts said, Oh well ... that kind of result is
typical for this kind of study and this kind of population. That being
so,
expect hundreds of thousands; maybe even millions of such unreported
missing persons across North America. Somebody else can do the math
but it
is a big number.
We gloss over statistics too readily. We see stats on missing persons
and
overlook that they are REPORTED missing persons. UNreported missing
persons are those in the Exit Surveys. I have an old friend whom I see
no
more than once every few years. He has no family ... friends where he
finds them from sea to sea; the last of the old fashioned hobos. He
goes
from welfare office to welfare office across Canada and does odd jobs.
Little formal education but a fascinating person because his life
style is
rare. I'm always glad to see him. Now what if he met with foul play?
Who
would report him? Nobody. Not the hotel he checks out of because their
clientelle are transients. Not his friends because we see him so
rarely.
People like this can disappear and never so much as show up in an
obituary column or a police missing person stat.
 And why just in
the USA? Doesn't Canada and Europe have a homeless problem?
Yes, it is a problem all over the world. But the focus presently is on
missing persons. Vancouver estimates 1,200 homeless. They are not
missing
because we can find them any day. The thousands in the 2/3 of MHR rolls
are missing because society as a whole doesn't know where they are. We
can
guess and I am working on a form with 8 categories to help our
guessing.

I threw this out to stimulate discussion of the conspiracy theory
sort.
The UN tells us 25,000,000 die every year for want of necessities of
life.
But how many die because they are made to disappear? We have Dr. Lopez
Solla on [EMAIL PROTECTED] and she is helping us to
understand this problem better. Her doctoral dissertation was on
missing
persons and she has coined the apt phrase: Authors of Disappearance.
So I ask: Given that so many people buy into the theory of surplus
population and see others as useless eaters, could there be
systematic campaigns in some jurisdictions of the world to liquidate
the
useless eaters? Do they have authors of their disappearance? What do
you
think?

Company With Ties To VP Cheney's Energy Task Force Faces Criminal Indictment
For Gaming California Electricity Market
by Jason Leopold

Three years ago, while California's energy crisis was spiraling out of
control, Vice President Dick Cheney secretly met with half-dozen corporate
executives of the country's largest energy companies to hammer out a
national energy policy for President George W. Bush.

Cheney appeared on a number of news programs in May 2001 to promote his new
energy policy, which turned out to be a boon for the energy industries, but
abandoned consumers and environmental groups. Naturally, during some of
those interviews, Cheney was asked whether a handful of the energy companies
that sold electricity in California and stood to benefit financially from
the new policy were behaving like a cartel and manipulating prices in the
state's deregulated electricity market.

No, Cheney said in a May 17, 2001 interview with PBS' Frontline; a day
after the final energy policy report was released. The problem you had in
California was caused by a combination of things--an unwise regulatory
scheme, because they didn't really deregulate. Now they're trapped from
unwise regulatory schemes, plus not having addressed the supply side of the
issue. They've obviously created major problems for themselves...
This is quite true. The California government did a very bad job of deregulating the electricity industry and it came back to bite them. This is one of the many stated reasons Gray Davis was turned out of office.

California is not a child who must be bailed out of bad situations everytime they get into a mess. California is a sovereign state which should be able to handle it's own affairs. In this case it didn't and it paid a very high price for doing shoddy work.

It is true that FERC has not been much help to California in this crisis. I'm sure that if we dig deep into the pile we will find that Haliburton is behind the mess.

And health care. Just look at how the governments of the UK and Canada

medical care. If they waited for their names to come up on the lists,
there is a good chance they would be dead by then. Doctors in Canada
tell their seriously ill patients that if you have the money go to the

[CTRL] Is the communications failure of the Mars Rover a conspiracy?

2004-01-24 Thread Bill Howard
-Caveat Lector-

Once again the mission to Mars is in trouble, communications trouble
this time. There are several conspiracies that could explain these
failures.
1. The little green men (in this case, little red men so as to blend
in with the background) have in the past caused the space craft to
crash on landing in a continuing effort to remain hidden from other
worlds and peoples. to date, the martians appear to have been
successful.
2. The masons or possiblity the Vatican have been sabatoging the space
program to meet some secret agenda of theirs.
3. There is nothing wrong with the Mars Rover, it is functioning as
programed. A Haliberton mole rewrote the software so that the Mars
Rover will now explore for oil on Mars has it does it's roving. The
communications blackouts are nothing more than the rover transmitting
it's data back to Haliberton. Soon, Halibuton tankers will be bring
martian oil to the earth so that earthlings will be able to continue
driving their SUVs.
I hope this helps to explain some of the problems with the Mars program.

If I hear one more time that this attack on Iraq is unilateral and
pre-emptive, I think that I will scream.
This is a resumption of hostilities because Iraq violated many United
Nations mandates--as recently as Resolution 1441. It was a unanimous
U.N. resolution to take action.
As to unilateral action, can someone please explain how a coalition of
more than 40 countries is a unilateral action?
And can the media stop with these phrases which seem to be neither true

or defeating the purpose?

This is logical if all the facts in your statement are true. But, what if the
government did not have any involvement in the 9/11 thing and are not
actively triing to usher in the NWO.
Then, we are back at square one, Why isn't the government calling this a
terrorist act?

[CTRL] LA County Sheriff may release some jailed illegals

2002-05-03 Thread Bill Howard

-Caveat Lector-

Washington just doesn't get it. When you pass laws you have to pay the cost
of the law. BTW, they are not immigrants. They broke U.S. law when they
entered the U.S. illegally. They are illegal aliens.

from news services

Unless the federal government provides the money to keep illegal immigrants
jailed, Sheriff Lee Baca said Thursday he may release those who commit
low-level crimes.

Baca said his department typically holds about 4,000 illegal immigrants in
county jails and, in recent years, has received about $70 million from the
U.S. Justice Department to cover those costs.

That illegal immigrant money has been a real godsend to the department,
Baca said, adding that the proposed federal budget for this year does not
include those funds. That could have dire effects on the county jail system,
according to the Sheriff.

I'm considering a strategy, if we are not fully funded, of releasing illegal
immigrants who are the lower-level offenders, Baca said.

The county simply cannot afford to continue paying to house those inmates,
and shouldn't have to anyway, Baca said.

We cannot get this current administration to realize that the problem of
illegal immigrants in America is not a local problem and responsibility, he
said. It is a national problem and responsibility.

Baca said California Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein is lobbying to get that
money put back into the federal budget.

Re: [CTRL] The Real Secret

2002-04-28 Thread Bill Howard

-Caveat Lector-

WHY NOW?
Because the media is does not like the Catholic Church. It has nothing to do
with the timing. The media does not like the Catholic Church because the
Catholic Church does not go along with birth control.
Bashing the Catholic Church was fun for the media until they found out that
some of the child molesters were homosexuals. Homosexuality, like birth
control is one of the medias sacred cows. So, the media has to be careful
when they bash the Catholic Church for child molestation, can't bash the
homsexual priests.

Why would the media or anyone in any position of influence in present day

[CTRL] FWD: IRS pays millions in nonexistent 'slavery' credits

2002-04-13 Thread Bill Howard

-Caveat Lector-

FYI - Aah, yes! Isn't big government just grand. The left hand doesn't know
what it is doing!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Internal Revenue Service (news - web sites)
mistakenly paid out more than
$30 million in 2000 and 2001 for nonexistent slavery tax credits, The
Washington Post reported in its
 Saturday's editions.

It had been known for years that some fraud artists advertised the
false credit and offered to help blacks
obtain it for a fee, but this marked the first hint the cost to the
government was so high, the newspaper said.

Some African-American leaders have argued for payments to compensate
blacks for the United States' legacy
of slavery, but no law has been enacted.

But rumors and erroneous reports of the existence of slavery tax
credits have circulated, prompting claims to
the IRS for the credits. Claims in 2001 amounted to $2.7 billion.

The newspaper said at least 12 current and former IRS employees applied
to receive the credit. One employee
was under investigation for allegedly helping process tax returns that
claimed the credit, the Post said.

The IRS is trying to recover the money it mistakenly paid out.

[CTRL] Ethanol idiocy from Washington

2002-04-11 Thread Bill Howard

-Caveat Lector-

April 11, 2002 - The Sacramento Bee

Not only will Californians soon have to pay more for gasoline laced with corn
liquor, but as a result, we'll have less money to alleviate congestion on our
roads.

Blame this nonsense on Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, D-SD, and
President Bush. They are pushing a provision for the Senate engery bill that
would require gasoline producers to use rising amounts of ethonal.

The measure would eliminate the current requirement in the Clean Air Act that
smoggy areas use gasoline containing an oxygen additive - either ethanol or
MTBE. But then it goes ahead to require that refineries triple their
purchases of ethanol for gasoline by 2012.

...It will drive up the cost of driving taking dollars out of the pockets of
motorists and putting them into the coffers of Archer Daniels Midland...Which
dominates the ethanol market.

...It will take dollars away from transportation investment. That's because
ethanol already gets another federal subsidy - the federal fuel tax at the pu
mp is a nickel less on fuel containing ethanol. If the Daschle-Bush ethanol
mandate is passed, federal revenues for transportation repair, operation and
construction will plummet...

So this is what Californians get from the proposed Baschle-Bush ethanol
bailout - higher prices at the pump and more crowded roads. It gives the
term, Highway robbery a whole new dimension.

[CTRL] Airport screeners are ready to scream

2002-04-09 Thread Bill Howard

-Caveat Lector-

FYI - by the San Francisco Chronicle - April 9, 2002

Big government comes through again! I hope this article makes everyone feel
safer.

The federal government's highly vaunted plan to hire and train 30,000
screeners by November can't even get off the ground at the nation's big
airports because the government has fumbled the application process for
anyone who wants to be a screener.

This means no one can yet apply to be a security screener at the nation's
largest airports, including those in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York,
Atlanta and Chicago. In fact, of the 429 commercial airports in the United
States, only six have started posting job openings.

LAX, which officials have said needs at least 1,000 passenger screeners and
countless more baggage screeners, has not posted any openings.

The government's plan is so fare behind schedule that frustrated job seekers
say they've waited months for job applications that still haven't arrived.

Airport experts say the application snafu casts doubt on whether the new
Transportation Security Administration can meet a November 19 congressional
deadline for mobilizing a federal security force at the nation's commercial
airports.

For example, the TSA has said it would dispatch what officials say will be
highly trained, professional screeners to San Francisco International Airport
as early as this month. But the TSA is not even accepting applications for
jobs at SFO or at nearby Oakland or San Jose International Airports.

Yet, even after the applications are in, the TSA still has to hire,
background, train and deploy nearly 1,000 screeners each week to meet the
November deadline for staffing the nation's airports. After undergoing an FBI
background check that itself can take weeks, screeners must pass 40 hours of
classroom training, then take another 60 hours of on-the-job training.

How can they hire when no one can apply? said Lynda McBroom of Oakland.

Screeners are often called the Key line of defense in the U.S. aviation
system, because they are charged with stopping bombs, guns and knives from
reaching jetliners via passengers or baggage.

The Department of Transportation's inspector general has said one of the
TSA's major challeges is hiring and training qualified screeners in a
matter of months, expecially in light of repeated security lapses by
privately employed airport screeners.

know of. To date, as far as I know, no one has been loaded into a cargo
container and shipped off. This is just another Urban Legend, like the
domestic concentration camps. They are not there. I have visited several of
the reported sites and no concentration camps.

For example, when I was investigating in Montana (Whitefish, at the train
depot) I noted hundreds of Chinese 40 foot cargo containers, double stacked,
coming through Montana continuously from the west coast.

Yes, this is the way the containers are loaded on the railway cars at the
harbor. Why are they using 40 foot containers? Most long haul trucking
compainies use 53 foot trailers in interstate commerice.

he also explained how dockside workers became suspicious at the loud jangling
of these many boxcars as they were unloaded, and investigated only to
discover their disturbing contents.

Longshoremen only open containers when they are going to steal the contents
and they are very careful about that. They are watched carefully because they
are known to open the containers and help themselves to the contents. In a
case like this they would report the container to U.S. Customs and let them
investigate.

I am now recieving reports from California contacts that many of these 40
foot cargo containers are piling up at Long Beach naval shipyard and other
locations on the California coast.

Long Beach Naval Shipyard is no more thanks to Klinton. He closed it so it
could be leveled and container facility build for COSCO, China Overseas
Shipping Company. The container facility has not been built yet. I drove by
there last week.

I have uncovered that many of the crates of guillotines arriving in the USA
are from China as well.

Why guillontines? There are better ways of getting rid of large numbers of
people.

All you people who turned your clocks ahead one hour last night before going
to bed and not waiting until 2am as you should have are in trouble.

One of the unpublished provisions of the Homeland Defense bill was to
strictly enforce the 2 am time change. An enforcement bureau has been set up
to arrest, prosecute and jail offenders who changed their clocks before they
went to bed.

So, you people and you know who you are, pack your toothbrush and be ready
when they come for you.

[CTRL] No right to drive for illegals

2002-04-05 Thread Bill Howard

-Caveat Lector-

FWD, FYI from the Daily Breeze, April 5, 2002

(Editorial) Should California issue driver's licenses to 2 million illegal
immigrants? Governor Gray Davis (D) apparently thinks so.

I believe we can fashion a bill, he said last week, that gives people who
have been here for a while and who are contributing to our economy the right
to drive to work, and does not compromise public security.

Davis has in mind a measure that would allow illegal immigrants to obtain a
driver's license if they ahve settled in California, have been issued a
federal tax-payer identification number, and are seeking U.S. citizenship.

Davis has placed himself at odds with two-thirds of California's registered
voters, according to a Zogby poll. Not only do most white, black and
Asian-American voters oppose driver's licenses for illegal immigrants, but so
do a majority of Hispanic voters.

It is hard for us to see how imdividuals who have broken America's
immigration laws should be entitled to the state's official blessing in the fo
rm of a driver's license. Bestowing driving privileges upon those who have
illeglly migrated to California would only encorage more illegal immigration.

For a driver's license is not just a permit authorizing a person to lawfully
operate a motor vehicle. It is also an identification document enabling a
person to secure employment, transact financial business, and board an
airplane, among other things.

The governor assures that only qualified illegal immigrants would be given
the right to drive. But it takes next to nothing to obtain a federal
taxpayer ID number, which is why so many undocumented immigrants have them.
Anyone can claim to be seeking U.S. Citizenship.

Davis also seems to think public security would not be compromised if illegal
immigrants were limited to driving to work. But even those who favor
licensing undocumented immigrants wonder why the governor makes such a
distinction.

Indeed, the issue is ot whether illegal immigrants ought to have a right to
drive to work, to school or wherever, but whether those who are in this
country illegally should be allowed to drive at all.

And on that issue, Californians of all ethnic origins agree. The privilege of
driving should be reserved for those who are legal residents.

[CTRL] Catholic clergy not alone in abuse cases

2002-04-05 Thread Bill Howard

-Caveat Lector-

Catholic clergy not alone in abuse cases
by Richard N. Ostling (AP) April 5, 2002

The flood of sex abuse allegations against priests this year has focused
attention on the Roman Catholic Church, but Protestant denominations have
also faced sex scandals involving clergy.

In fact, while data are sketchy, at least one expert believes the incidence
of clergy molesting young children may be about as frequent- or infrequent-
in Protestantism as it is in Catholicism.

Others have found Protestant scandals have a tendency to surface in cases
where male ministers are counseling women or tenn-age girls, while the
allegations against priests have frequently involved underage males.

Penn State historian Philip Jenkins argued in his 1996 book, Pedophiles and
Priests, that both secular and Catholic media exaggerate the extent of
Catholic cases involving minors, while downplaying Protestant abuse.

For instance, the Rev. Robert Eckert of Grand Rapids, Mich. a minister in the
African Methodist Episcopal Church, was sent to prison in 2000 for sexual
involvement with a 15 year old girl who worked as his baby sitter - but the
case recieved little attention.

Jenkins, an Episcopalian, thinks a 1992 survey from the Chicago Archdiocese
is more representative of the true picture in Catholicism.

Among 2,252 priests serving more than four decades, 39 priests (1.7 per cent)
apparently abused minors. Only one abuser could be termed a pedophile under
the strict, clinical definition of the word - meaning the victim was
prepubescent.

I am prepared to be convinced that Catholics have a bigger problem than
Protestants, Jenkins said, but nobody has good data, partly because
Protestant groups are too numerous.

Minneapolis psychologist Gary Schoener agreed. There are no real scientific
data on Protestants, he said. Since 1974, his walk-in Counseling Center has
been consulted on more than 2,000 cases of clergy sexual misconduct of all
types, two-thirds of them with Protestants.

He finds that sex with adult women or teen age girls is the most frequent
Protestant problem.

In a typical Protestant cases, a jury awarded $10 million in February to
reatives of the late Deborah Yardley of Columbus, Ohio.

The suit charged that the Rev. Steven Collifower, a United Methodist, had an
affair with Yardley when she sought his help with alcohol and emotional
problems. He left the ministry shortly after she made the allegation. She
later died of liver disease.

World magazine says Protestantism faces a severe problem of clergy
involvement with people the ministers are counseling.

Schoener said that clergy having sex with prepubescent victims is very rare
in all denominations.

A study of the Presbyterian Church (USA), covering eight states over six
years, found 17 cases against clergy.

[CTRL] Pastor stabbed at polling place

2002-03-06 Thread Bill Howard

-Caveat Lector-

From the Daily Breeze, Torrance, CA. 3.6.02

Perhaps we need to install metal detectors at all voting polls in the future.
Or, maybe the easy way would be to outlaw pastors.
Bill

A pastor whose church was being used as a polling place was stabbed by a man
who walked into the sancturary Tuesday after wounding a person on the street
outside, authorities said.

Police Sgt. Gary Crawford said the man walked into the Family Praise
Fellowship Assembly of God about 4.30pm.

The man, for unknown reasons, appeared to be disgruntled about something
and stabbed the 61 year old pastor., Crawford said.

Rev. Derrill Sturgeon was taken to Riverside Community Hospital, where
officials said he was undergoing surgery late Monday(sic) and his condition
was not immediately available. He was stabbed three times in the chest.

The other victim was stabbed once in the upper body.

Crawford said the alleged assailant, identified as Danny Lopez, 30, of
Riverside, was arrested and a folding knife with a 4 inch blade recovered.

Crawford said he didn't know if the assailant targeted Sturgeon or if the
minister had asked him to leave.

[CTRL] Gun crime trebles as weapons and drugs flood british cities

2002-02-24 Thread Bill Howard

-Caveat Lector-

Looks like the only ones who didn't see this coming were the liberal gun
grabbers.

(London)Telegraph, Sunday 24 February 2002

Gun crime trebles as weapons and drugs flood British cities
By David Bamber, Home Affairs Correspondent
(Filed: 24/02/2002)

GUN crime has almost trebled in London during the past year and is soaring in
other British cities, according to Home Office figures obtained by The
Telegraph.
Police chiefs fear that Britain is witnessing the kind of cocaine-fuelled
violence that burst upon American cities in the 1980s. Cocaine, particularly
from Jamaica, now floods into Britain, while the availability of weapons -
many of them from eastern Europe - is also increasing.
Detectives in London say that the illegal importation of guns started after
the end of the Bosnia conflict and that they are changing hands for as little
as £200. During the 10 months to January 31, there were 939 crimes involving
firearms in the Metropolitan Police area compared with 322 in the 10 months
to the end of January, 2001 - an almost three-fold increase.
In Merseyside there were 57 shootings during the 12 months to last December
compared with 15 in the same period the year before. Greater Manchester also
recorded a 23 per cent increase in gun crime and there have been rises in
Nottinghamshire, Avon and Somerset, West Yorkshire and the Northumbria Police
area which covers Newcastle.
Gun crimes during the first 10 months of the annual period have trebled in
most of the urban areas which have so far submitted statistics to the Home
Office. Sir John Stevens, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, said gun
gangs were spreading across the country whereas, until recently, they were
confined to a handful of London boroughs.
Sir John said: We have to stem the large number of guns coming in. We know
you can buy a gun in London for £200 to £300, and that's frightening. The
price of hiring or buying a gun has come down because there are more guns
circulating. We are having success; we are taking out about 600 guns a year.
The new gun crime figures also show that handgun crime has soared past levels
last seen before the Dunblane massacre of 1996 and the ban on the weapons
that followed. The ban on ownership of handguns was introduced in 1997, the
year after Thomas Hamilton, an amateur shooting enthusiast, shot dead 16
schoolchildren, their teacher and himself in Dunblane, Perthshire.
It was hoped that the measure would reduce the number of handguns available
to criminals. According to internal Home Office statistics, however, handgun
crime is now at its highest since 1993.

[CTRL] Give Canada credit for tattoo removal

2002-02-15 Thread Bill Howard

-Caveat Lector-

I LIKE THIS! even if it is an idea from a PC country. After all if Canada is
paying for the service, they should be able to take credit for it. My county
supervisors certainly make sure they get the credit for any and all major
projects in their districts.

Toronto Globe and Mail

Now that's service. A prisioner in the medium security Mountain Institution
in Agassiz ( British Columbia) has the tattoo of a large swastika on his
stomach. He claims to have rennounced...white supremacy and promises to
dedicate himself on release to speaking out against racism. So the prison, to
improve his prospects, has agreed to pay $6,500 to remove the tattoo.
We will leave it to the players to debate whether the prisoner's reformist
talk is sincere or just a ruse to manipulate the system. Of more interest is
whether, since federal taxpayers will be footing the bill, the government
will do what it usually does when spending public money.
So the good news is, the prisoner is losing the swastika. The bad news is,
Ottawa will insist on a new tattoo in its place, in large type: This removal
has been brought to you by the Government of Canada. Your tax dollars at
work. In both official languages, of course.

When the U.S. adopted the phrase, Under G*d and put it the money of the
U.S., there was a big protest at that time. Thats when the wheat penny (the
late 1950s) was replaced by the current model.
What it really comes down to, is the money any good? Can I take it to Jack in
the Box and get a burger?

OOOps. Sorry about the cock up.
You are correct, we can not leave the Brits out of the equation. They are the
ones who gave the land to the jews. And the jews are the ones who are
responsible for the mess we now have in the middle east.
Aaah, if only the zionists had accepted the offer of Uganda that Victoria
Regina had made to them we won't have this mess on our collective hands.

Yes, this is a part of the equation that we can not leave out. We must admit
that they were very good at concurring and converting. They did get to gates
of Vienna and if it hadn't been for the Polish Calvary they would have
claimed Vienna and who knows how much more land.
