Ya know, Sharyn, I took a cruise to the Caribbean last year and checked my options to see if I could get to St. Croix to take that Cruzan distillery tour. Nick, It's based on both. 10-40% income tax plus national insurance (health service) @ 13%. Purchases are taxed (VAT - value added tax) at 17.5% on most consumer items. Ahh yes, but you have the most iconic representations of medieval history in the world. I'd gladly swap a few years of sunshine just to be near those for while. Oh and the pastries...yum... We had an opportunity to visit Cardiff (and Caerphilly and Cardiff castles, of course) just before our first child was born and adored it. Wish I could have gotten to Harlech and Canaervon, but maybe in a few years when kids are older. I do a lot of people and they always say how can you live up north with all the snow. My response is snow has never flooded or destroyed my home like tornado's, earthquakes, and hurricanes do. I'll take my several feet of snow at a time over that any day. Darrell Check out http://www.invariantsystems.com for utilities for Declude And Imail. RE: [Declude.JunkMail] OT Snow
I have lived in the Middle East with temps in the 120s, in the south (Atlanta) with sweat baths and ice storms and a tornado that demolished my house 6 weeks after I sold it, in Europe and for the last 8 years here in Mass where I have four seasons and a wife who would be p off if I suddenly moved without telling her. I like my four seasons rain, snow and all.
