Re: [Dspace-tech] Dspace 3.0 XMLUI Mirage Theme - Hit highlighting Snippet view
Well there are not anything which looks missing so far but if dspace manual is using the term snippet view for XMLUI then there must be some obvious effect that one can see on the interface. On my interface i am seeing few collections whose details carries some output from my pdfs bit streams so may be i think this is what dspace is referring to for snippet which is obvious from its definition(generally). --- On Tue, 3/26/13, helix84 heli...@centrum.sk wrote: From: helix84 heli...@centrum.sk Subject: Re: Dspace 3.0 XMLUI Mirage Theme - Hit highlighting Snippet view To: mErRYo merryob...@yahoo.com Cc: dspace-tech@lists.sourceforge.net Date: Tuesday, March 26, 2013, 6:40 PM On Tue, Mar 26, 2013 at 2:01 PM, mErRYo merryob...@yahoo.com wrote: May be i am not getting this snippet view thing. As you correctly found out, the string comes from xmlui.ArtifactBrowser.SimpleSearch.filter.dateIssued The reason why it didn't show up immediately after you changed it in messages.xml and restarted Tomcat is that you have previously viewed that page and Cocoon (the framework XMLUI is built on) caches pages for you. So the old string from before you made the change was still there. At a later time (when you did a change to the underlying DRI by adding a filter) the cached version was updated and you started to see the new string. To prevent this in the future, don't forget to clear your Cocoon cache: https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/TechnicalFaq#TechnicalFaq-ClearingCocoon(XMLUI)cache Regards, ~~helix84 Compulsory reading: DSpace Mailing List Etiquette https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/Mailing+List+Etiquette -- Master Visual Studio, SharePoint, SQL, ASP.NET, C# 2012, HTML5, CSS, MVC, Windows 8 Apps, JavaScript and much more. So you probably used the old class with the new code. This should work, assuming you compiled it (LDAPHierarchicalAuthentication.java) in the new codebase. If you decide to go use the new LDAPAuthentication class, you should set search.anonymous = false (I'm not sure what the default is if it's not set). About no DN found for user - this is printed when the admin user's DN cannot be found in the LDAP directory. This means that either search.user/search.password is wrong or connection to LDAP couldn't be established (provider_url et al). Try the new LDAPAuthentication class first. Details are in the upgrading notes. Re: [Dspace-tech] Mvn package build fail
Issue Resolved. Actually the problem is (due to dspace online documentaation which says: to manually install Oracle JDBC Driver with maven command : mvn install:install . , as incomplete oracle version is mentioned 11.2.0.3 instead of 11.2.0.3.0) . Secondly again according to dspace online documentation: add Oracle dependency descriptor in pom.xml , which is not required, because it is already mentioned in pom.xml file, ALL you need is to correct the driver version 11.2.0.2.0 TO 11.2.0.3.0 After that run mvn package command to build your package for oracle . You will be successful. --- On Thu, 12/13/12, mErRYo merryob...@yahoo.com wrote: From: mErRYo merryob...@yahoo.com Subject: Re: Mvn package build fail To: heli...@centrum.sk Cc: hilton.gib...@gmail.com, lighton.ph...@gmail.com, jm...@lyncode.com, dspace-tech@lists.sourceforge.net, mw...@iupui.edu Date: Thursday, December 13, 2012, 9:14 PM Guys I already these steps as mentioned by Mr. Wood and Helix but the result is same error.
