[Dspace-tech] Upload Problem
Use the 1.4.2 version and I have a problem because some users upload files to the repository directly without going through the revision workflow, editing and acceptance. Anyone know how to fix this? Hello Claudia, thanks for your inmediate response, realy when i speak of files mean items. I created differents groups for each rol in each collection, but i don't' know why for some collections works but for others not. The workflow steps (there are 3 possible 1=accept/recet, 2=accept/reject and edit metadata, 3=edit metadata) are defined on collection basis, either while creating a collection or later by editing it. Hello Luis, there are ways to bypass workflow via batch upload, sword. But I assume you are referring submission via the UI. You can check whether any collection got no workflows defined in the database, the sql would be: select * from collection where workflow_step_1 is null and workflow_step_2 is null and workflow_step_3 is null; The creation of the roles/groups is not enough you got to create the workflow steps.
