04/08/2005: The Eindhoven Student Radioamateur Club (ESRAC) will be
active August 4-16th from Sareiser Joch (WW Loc. JN47tc), Liechtenstein.
They will operate as be HB0/PA6TUE (QSL via PI4TUE) and HB0/homecall on
160m-3cm, with an emphasis on the low bands, 6 metres and digital modes
(RTTY, PSK31, SSTV, JT6M). [Tnx 425 DX News]
04/08/2005: Sylvester DH4PB, Al LU1DZ, Hector LU6UO and Fernando LW2DX
will operate on all bands mainly CW from two rare provinces of Argentina
in August. Look for LU/DH4PB/S, LU1DZ/S, LU6UO/S and LW2DX/S August
4-10th from La Roja and for LU/DH4PB/R, LU1DZ/R, LU6UO/R and LW2DX/R

04/08/2005: SU8IOTA will be active starting Thursday August 4th from
Matruh region islands (IOTA AF-099). Most probably we are going to
activate Hashafat El Qutt island as it is the nearest of them to the
shore. They received their license on a very short notice. The operation

05/08/2005: Lada, OK1LO will be QRV August 5-15th on 80-10 meters as
9A5LO/p from Pasman Island (IOTA EU-170, CIA-34, CI-085, MIA MC-291).

05/08/2005: Look for Piero, I1ASU/p, to be active August 5th from the
Tower of the Castle of Andonno to Valdieri (DCI reference CN-261, for
the Italian Castles Award), Region of Piemonte, Province of Cuneo (CN).
Activity will be on 40 meters starting around 14:00 UTC. QSL via home

05/08/2005: Eugene, RA1QJ, will be active August 5-7th as RA1QJ/3 from
the Danilovsky area (RDA reference YR-16, for the Russian Districts
Award), the Ljubimsky area (RDA YR-17) and the Pervomajsky area (RDA
YR-21), Yaroslavskaya oblast (YR). QSL via home call, direct or bureau.

05/08/2005: Mikhail UA1QV, Victor UA1QM, Andrei RV3BR will be active
August 5-7th as UE1RDA, UE1RDA/m, and UE1RDA/1 from the following
references for the Russian Districts Award: RDA VO-12, VO-21, VO-22,
VO-10 and VO-11, Vologodskaya oblast (VO); RDA AR-11, AR-30, AR-14,
AR-30, Arkhangelskaya oblast (AR); and RDA VO-10, VO-22, VO-21 and

05/08/2005: Linda VE9GLF/p and Len VE9MY/p will activate 2-3 new
Canadian Islands on August 5th and 7th. August 5th operation will be
from Moser Island, Nova Scotia and will not be IOTA. Time will be around
20:30 UTC. On August 7th they have arranged transportation to 1-2 new
Canadian islands that will both qualify for IOTA NA-081. Both operations
on August 7th will be dependent on weather conditions. They will be
using 100 watts with R4 vertical for 20 meters and a dipole for 40. QSL

05/08/2005: Barry, WA5DTK, plans to be QRV August 5th from the Port
Isabel lighthouse (ARLHS reference USA-649), Texas. Activity will be
intermitent and mostly on SSB on 20 and 15 meters, with 40 meter SSB at
15:00, 19:00, and 21:00 UTC. Barry might operate at similar times on
August 6th from either Aransas Pass/Lydia Ann Channel (ARLHS USA-018) or
Corpus Christi [Historic] (ARLHS USA-1137). Some CW is also possible on
20 meters around 14.035 MHz, if time permits. QSL via WA5DTK (Barry

06/08/2005: Les, G3VQO, will be active August 6th as F/G3VQO/p from the
Moulin de la Victoire (Victory Mill) (DMF reference 59-038, for the
French Mills Award). He needs 25 QSOs to confirm. If done Les will
activate the Moulin du Nord (North Mill) (DMF 59-039). All bands SSB
starting 10:00 UTC until 15:30, with a short try on 80 meters at 11:00
UTC (attention of Belgian and French Hams of the Nord Pas de Calais,

06/08/2005: The F6KJD Amateur Radio Club will be active August 6th from
the Cras sur Reyssousse Mill (DMF reference 01-065), Department Ain (01)

the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse (ARLHS USA-845), Maryland. Activity
will be on 80-15 meter AM phone, on or around the usual ARLHS phone

06/08/2005: Look for the special call K8S to be QRV August 6-7th from
the Point Aux Barques Lighthouse (ARLHS USA-615), Michigan. Activity
will start at 00:01 UTC August 6th and end at 23:59 UTC August 8th, on
