The situation still exists wherein e-gold spends work sometimes
and don't work sometimes. How long has this been going on?
Somewhere between 24 and 48 hours, I think.

I have not had any problems from here.

I don't think this is e-golds fault at all.

Often if there is a server or a relay point not operating or is faulty
that can screw up the works.

Sometimes the ISP to which I below, although is the biggest in
Australia, breaks down and I find I am unable to get ***selected***
urls in the US. This has happened twice and on both occassions there
was a relay server in NZ which had conked out. It took 2 days to get
them to fix it but for that period access to certain urls in the US were
only available intermittently.

We only accept orders from Australia also which has reduced the

Please note the recent changes to the www.gold-today.com website and the Terms Conditions.

1. The Technocash Payment system is no longer being accepted. This is due to the high cost involved in accepting and processing Technocash Payments and the inordinately extended amount of time it takes to receive payment from Technocash. It was actually costing us money to process them. We still accept Cash, Wires and online transactions of course. We do not and have never at any time accepted credit cards. We have began accepting PayPal (see below).

2. As I am still getting heaps of overseas orders coming in I would like to reiterate that Gold Today ONLY accepts orders originating out of Australia (Past New Zealand Clients still accepted). We are currently negotiating a possible reciprocal arrangement with a reputable exchange provider who will accept our overseas orders in exchange for their Australian.

3. Please note the new Terms Conditions posted on the site.

4. Our fees remain at 5% of the CLEARED FUNDS in our bank with PayPal being the exception. Please see point 5 below.

5. PayPal is now accepted subject to the terms and conditions displayed on the web site. With ALL PayPal orders, I hold the prerogative to refuse any PayPal order I am not totally satisfied with. Fee for Service with PayPal is 11% of the CLEARED FUNDS in our bank accounts.

6. Currently we are selling e-gold and GoldMoney. If the business warrants it we will also resume selling e-bullion at a later stage. The same goes for Pecunix. If there is a call for it we will consider adding it to our list.

[e-gold-list] Transfer mail from netscape to MS

Believe it or not I wish to transfer my email messages and archives from 
Netscape email to MS.

Prior to the crash and reformat of my machine I was using MS Outlook 
express 5.50.

After rebuilding the machine I found the machine would not load up ms 
outlook express or outlook so I loaded on netscape email 7.0 and 
imported all my emails over to that engine.  After I did that I 
discovered that ms was now working (possible due to some software in the 
netscape software maybe).  However I can NOT now transfer my emails from 
netscape to outlook express by importing to ms express the emails I have 
in netscape.

When I try going to the C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla folder,  I 
discover all the emails have been put (by netscape) into separate 
folders and the ms outlook importer will not 'read' those folders and 
says there is nothing in them even when I select Netscape email in the 
selection window for importing.

So in short . does anyone know how to transfer or export all emails 
from netscape to MS outlook express?

Try find  - outlook.pst or archive.pst or backup.pst - should be in your
outlook folder of documents and settings (depends on which of the win
** you runs) -
Then open netscape mail - Import - Choose file - *.pst 

Believe it or not I wish to transfer my email messages and archives from
Netscape email to MS.

to discontinue it's use.

My customer apparently had funds paid into their e-gold account without authority and 
after contacting them was told point blank they would not refund it.

Any one have any information or experiences with them?

upgrade over the next couple of days

It will remain on line and available for use but you may notice some 
anomalies from time to time.  Currently it is displaying  up to 13 
copies of one entry for some entries.

As the upgrade continues these anomalies will subside.

well as branches in many other countries.



I would not recommend HSBC to anyone for anything (except my
enemies).  Gold Age had a very bad experienc with them.  They
are thieving buffoons.

They are also highly inaccurate and do not even follow the banking procedures 
correctly.


They removed funds from my account without authorisation until I jumped 
up and down on them and had them replace the funds.

I closed my account with them.  a very unprofessional Bank in my experience.

without the payee's consent. In fact I still have the 2 fraudulent payments
because I had already paid the gold... the bank took the rap.

Also in Australia the same applies.  I have had fraudulent payments sent 
to me via the online banking system  and there is no question of 
returning funds paid that way.
The bank again takes the rap. In that situation we managed to recover 
most of the funds and the bank were rap'd I can tell you even though 
they did lose some.

Profit is a great incentive, almost as high on the scale as survival. 
 20 years ago one could not imagine transferring money from your chair

I live in So. California and would like to know if any MM has a way I can fund my acct
by going into a bank in my area and make a cash deposit to their acct.  Please let me
know the procedure if it is possible.  Give me the cost and how fast you can fund my
acct once the deposit is made.

funds be reversed, and if so, how long after the transaction has taken place does the 
power to reverse exist?


Bpay can be,  online transactions no  (however banks can do what they like)

found to have come courtesy of some kind of criminal activity, does the bank take the 
money back from you, or do they eat the cost themselves? (Naturally I don't care 
about to poor schmuck who was robbed, I care about the merchant)

I had 3 lots of funds sent to me on an online transaction for three 
orders all of which were fraudulent.  The first one went through and the 
crim was paid (goddamit).  I receive the following two payments and 
orders a few days later.  As there suddenly became an apparent 
similarity between the orders despite the different names egold accounts 
etc., it looked suspicious so I held onto to them. Sure enough the bank 
came to be cap in hand ... 'cough cough,.  ahem those funds are 
fraudulent  along with that other one,.  can you return them pleaasee'.

Well they were happy that I could return the last two but the first one 
.sorry gone. As each one was for 2k AUD they were happy to get the 
4K AUD back.

However,  if it was 100K AUD  it might have been a different story.  I 
have seen two  banks on a fraudulent cheques for over 50,000AUD act 
without compunction and grab the funds from wherever they are 
notwithstanding.

So I guess it depends on the banks perception of what they can stand by 
way of loss.

 ANZEAs ... I like that!

I recommend english.  If you want to talk  dutch, afrikaans, spanish, 
french, et all  personal emails are better and don't confuse others.

We mainly talk english, US and Aussie on this list  and that can cause 
enough confusion.
