This is due to the high cost involved in accepting and processing Technocash Payments and the inordinately extended amount of time it takes to receive payment from Technocash. It was actually costing us money to process them. We still accept Cash, Wires and online transactions of course. We do not and have never at any time accepted credit cards. Due to a Telstra Router failing anyone on Telstra Bigpond Cable will be unable to access the two sites (and possibly others) above. I have informed Telstra a few times but the response has been deficient in customer service so I am unable to say when we can access the site. In Australia you can do an online transaction from one branch to another branch of the same bank and the funds are transferred instantly. Between banks it is overnight generaly. Less waiting for the funds means less waiting for the gold. Most gold orders are now being funded within hours of the order placed and the funds transmitted. The Gold Today site was also upgraded with a new host more suited to our industry and who provides a high quality customer service 24 hours a day. Although there is no sensitive information such as credit card data on the site, a secure certificate has also been installed to further protect the privacy of our clients information. Gold Today have plans this year to accept credit cards for inexchanges. Important Announcement. Although it is not yet reflected on the site please be aware that the service charge for all orders, with the exception of Technocash, is now reduced to 5% on the **Cleared Funds** in our accounts. This is as a result of the savings in time, productivity and banking fees associated with overseas transactions through the banks. Technocash will need to remain at 7% until such time as they reduce their fees. The most economical method of funding your account is by online transfer to one of our Australian banks (information on which will be supplied when you place your order). In the next few weeks we intend to set up accounts with all the major Australian Banks so will be able to accept transactions to the bank of your choice resulting in a faster service for all. All overseas orders will, from now on, be referred to Gaithmans Gold Nation with whom we are affiliated. Gaithmans are an excellent company with an impeccable record for fast and reliable service.
