Re: [fibernet] Re: ring spinning frame
first of all, i believe it is an industrial machine and so you very likely would not find ordinary pictures of it but. if you go to her site, there is a picture of her at hers i dont know how to get there now, but maybe you still have her post with the site. nice white barn and smaller building besides. peggy carlevato wrote: i believe i must be suffering from a nearly-terminal case of the simples. i have been sitting at this crazy confuser for more than an hour trying to find ring spinning frames a/o a picture thereof and have had absolutely no success. ???would appreciate any help. thanks.. peg --- On Mon, 10/26/09, Turan Albini laz...@hughes.net wrote: From: Turan Albini laz...@hughes.net Subject: [fibernet] Re: ring spinning frame To: fibernet@yahoogroups.com Date: Monday, October 26, 2009, 10:40 PM I like it, but it doesn't replace my Reeves. But for doing a large pile of wool in a way that I can control and enjoy the results it is fun. I even get paid which seems amazing to me. By the way, the ring spinning frame I use is from Carolina Specialtys, not McDermott. McDermotts retrofitted an old spinning frame for us that we use for plying. Re: [fibernet] Pattern and Loom Download
apology this is not the list where the archives would be, but persons on this list probably have the two sites also probably someone who sees my premature response can forward the addresses that worked. i downloaded from the original online site [i dont subscribe to handwoven so i dont know what url they published] but thereafter i was aware that some people had difficulty leading to the author adding another site. i believe both sites are in denmark.
