Fwd: [Fink-beginners] X code Tools 1.5
With regards, to X code Tools 1.5. Should I install X code 1.2 first? I gave it up some time ago, because I couldn't get the 'segments' stuff to work (basically i just don't know what it is beyond segments of a CD image.). This is because you didn't install the gcc3.1.pkg. You should install this and also the gcc2.95.pkg if you want to be able to compile all Fink packages. Unfortunately, those bloody fools^H^H^H^H^H^H^H our dear friends from Apple have done it again and hid some of the important packages including these compiler versions and X11SDK.pkg in a personalized installation option, unchecked by default. As to the segments, just download them and leave them side by side. Then open or double-click the one whose name ends with .dmg. It knows how to load the others. -- Martin --- SF.Net email is sponsored by Shop4tech.com-Lowest price on Blank Media 100pk Sonic DVD-R 4x for only $29 -100pk Sonic DVD+R for only $33 Save 50% off Retail on Ink Toner - Free Shipping and Free Gift. http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Inkjet_Cartridges/9_108_r285 ___ Fink-beginners mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners

It will be fixed in fink 0.21.1 which is due out shortly. In the mean time, the vast majority of packages in Fink will still be buildable, just the few that want cctools (= some-version) will fail.
