GNHLUG doesn't have the resources / whatever to do it on our own, we
might suggest teaming up with BLU and/or other LUGs to push LUGs in
general. (Hey, we could call it LUG Nuts! Er, sorry.)

2006-01-13 Thread David J Berube

Hi,

Yes, we are planning on having a GNHLUG booth - free, at that, just like
last year. I'll drop a line to my contact over there asap and see if we
can't get a few more details. .

Take it easy,

Just got a note as a LinuxWorld alumni that they were accepting

The .org Pavilion this year seems to be by invitation (http://

Has anyone got a contact at the LinuxWorld conference? It would be
interesting to find out if they are planning room for LUGs and to get
our request in.

manning a booth. I'll be glad to work one day...

Last year, at least, BLU wasn't interested in having a booth, according
to the Linux World people.

Wasn't there - can't say. I do know that when I talked to the LinuxWorld
people, no one at BLU had returned phone calls for a visit or WRT booths.
