[iagi-net-l] Terry Leach's death

2007-03-06 Terurut Topik Sukmandaru Prihatmoko
Rekan-rekan - berita duka,

Dunia eksplorasi mineral kehilangan salah satu pemikir terbaiknya: Terry
Leach.
eksplorasi. Cukup banyak tulisan almarhum ttg mineralisasi di Indonesia
(baik untuk perusahaan maupun di publikasi).

Almarhum pernah juga memberikan Guest Lecturing on behalf of IAGI (2003??)
di Yogya dan Bandung.

Wassalam,

Greg,

I got your message below from other colleague - I am really sad to hear it.

Last time I contacted him in October 2006 when he was recovering from a
major operation, and said will let me know his condition within 3-4 months.
I got the information now

Many invaluable experiences I got from him during the time of working
together and having discussion on mineral exploration and many other things
about life. I would never forget them all.

HAVE A PEACEFUL RETURN JOURNEY JAMPA TASHI.

Folks

In case you didn't know our friend and colleague Terry Leach lost his battle
with cancer and passed away on Feb 28. Ray Merchant who has been most
attentive during this whole process tells me it was fortunately quick
towards the end.

Terry was pleased to have been ordained a Buddhist monk prior to his passing
with the name Jampa Tashi. Further details might be available from his
Buddest Centre www.mahamudra.org.nz

Ray is writing an obituary and we plan to hold a SMEDG/AIG Symposium in
Sydney in 2008 to honour Terry's contribution to the exploration industry.
The plan is to have Terrys clients talk on projects he worked on and produce
an AIG Bulletin. Please contact Ray Merchant, Mike Smith or myself if you
have ideas.

with great sadness

berguna, lama setelah penulisnya pergi. Begitulah seorang ilmuwan
tulisnya.

Condolence for Terry..
