hi, is there a setting i can change so jaws 2018 will nnounce visited links before the link, instead of after the link? i am tired of haveing to listen to the entire link description before it will tell me it has been visited. like when doing a google search. thanks. Hi people, I'm using Jaws 2018 on a Win 10 PC with Tapin Radio v 1.17.2. While playing a station Jaws announces every song change. Actually, Jaws will announce what's at the top of the screen, so it's sounds something like this: Tapin Radio free v1.72.2 RMF Grunge Mad Season River of Deceit Some might like this, but personally it is making me crazy. Silencing Jaws is not an option because I often have Tapin playing in the background while I work. [JAWS-Users] Laptop crashing
Hi all, I have a acer laptop running windows 10 and Jaws 2018. I have been having an issue where my computer will turn completely off with no warning when running on battery. When I restart the laptop the battery level is always pretty high so it isn't a battery issue. I took note of when this was happening so my brother could look at the logs and see what is happening. Well as far as he could see there was no reason for it. Then my brother played with my laptop for awhile without Jaws on and the laptop didn't shut down. He gave it back to me and I turned Jaws on and one minute later it had turned off. So this led us to think it was something to do with Jaws but I couldn't see why that was causing this. I had an upgrade I hadn't done on my Jaws so I did that and I haven't had the laptop shut down on me since. I'm hoping it is totally fixed but does anyone know why this would have been happening? Hmmm, weird. I'm on Verizon, my children have Verizon, when I text from the computer, it comes back on the phone, the replies that is. I texted my buddy who has cricket wireless, he responded and it landed in my inbox. I'm all befuddled. I know a lot of people that don't receive voice mail, texts, & emails because of whatever cellular or internet hiccups, so there's no way that I will risk not receiving something important because all my messaging is controlled by someone else's server / the cloud. Hi David/all, I have a Lenovo at home. The one keystroke I can help with is a toggle fn-f6 which turns on the touchpad. Beware though, the reverse is done by hitting f6-fn.
