Insert+F is the command in JAWS 7.x, and Insert+f+f is the command in JAWS 8.x. Daryl gave a good explanation of how to work with the point measurement system, but I still don't know the correlation between the 2 different types of measurements in Excel. That is, hold down insert---the Jawskey--and press f1 twice quickly. You will hear a ton of information in a virtual window, and the width of the cell will be a part of it. Insert-f1 gives you a document summary, including the width of the cell in the table where your cursor is.
