Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS keystroke needed
the problem is f/s fault. not mine. its still usable. the programming is not the same for the laptop and desktop layout. i am useing the desktop layout. and the capslock for the jaws key. only alt capslock will turn it on or off. double pressing the key will not work with this layout. -Original Message- From: LeDon Sent: Friday, February 09, 2018 8:16 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS keystroke needed Can you press cap lock twice quickly and hear either cap lock on or cap lock off? When set to laptop layout, the caps lock acts as a toggle. If you want to invoke the capslock for instance, if you want to type aan entire word in caps, press it twice quickly. Jaws will say, caps lock on. Once you are finished, toggle it off by pressing it twice quickly again. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Vicki W. Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS keystroke needed
Vicky, If you have the laptop keyboard configuration set up on your computer, you should be able to tap quickly on the cap lock key and hear either cap lock on, or cap lock off. When cap lock is on you will type in all caps. With the cap lock off you will use the shift key to type an uppercase letter. You probably already know that. But here's the thing, if it is not working that way for you, then, it is time to call FS. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Vicki W.
