Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws & Win10 Latest
Hey guys. Indeed, I think I already did this. At least, I think so ... I can't check, because the setting no longer seems to be there. However, I also modified the registry to be sure, and that change definitely stuck. I don't think cortana is actually enabled; it's just still running as a background app, and as I'm weird about these things and don't really like things running when they're not needed, it bugs me. I'm the same with my phone, which needs to be rooted in order to make me happy. :D -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Steve Sent: January 1, 2018 12:22 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws & Win10 Latest Mike, Is that applicable for build 1709? Hi, For consumers, Enterprise gives you nothing. Technically, yes, it gives more options, but Windows 10 Enterprise and Education (the academic variant of Enterprise) cannot be purchased as a standalone product by consumers, as they are meant for companies and schools subscribing to software assurance. Hi, Yes. In reality, you're using highest Windows 10 edition, but the license you've got turns some features on or off. Compared to Pro, Enterprise gives you more options.
