Re: [LegacyUG] BEWARE!!! MyHeritage "wonderful" photo colorization steals your photos!

2020-02-17 Thread johnbernacki1
My experiences with MyHeritage were horrendous. I will never again have
anything to do with them, except using Legacy software which they now own. If
Legacy stops being standalone and becomes some kind of cloud software, I would
never upgrade to it and may transfer my data to another genealogy program. From
my experience, MyHeritage uses every dirty trick in the book.

Re: [LegacyUG] Legacy emails going to Junk emails

2020-02-17 Thread Roberta Schwalm
Jennifer, there are two ways to solve this problem:

1) go to your Junk or Spam folder and click on "this is not junk mail" and
it should automatically go to your inbox.

2) or highlight the Legacy email(s) and drag to your inbox folder. You
should get a message asking if you want emails from this sender to be sent
to your inbox in the folder. Click "yes" and your problem should be solved.

At least that is how it works in gmail. Not sure about Hotmail as I
haven't used it for quite some time.

Hope this helps.

Re: [LegacyUG] Legacy emails going to Junk emails

2020-02-17 Thread Michele Lewis
Most email clients will allow you to create folders and then create "rules"
telling the email client to send all emails from a certain sender to this
folder. You can also make rules for certain subject lines etc.

Many of my Legacy emails are going in to the Junk email folder.

In looking at the Help file I can't find any assistance with this problem.

I have not had this problem with previous lap-tops so I suspect it happened
in transferring to this new laptop.

I guess it really isn't a Legacy problem, but advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.
