Re: [LegacyUG] I have a crash problem
Ian, Where are you entering the date (ie. what search tab are you using). I tested the Detailed search tab and I had no problems with searching from there. Search took only a few seconds to find a person using the find any date equal to Mar 1832 (I have no records in my file with your 23 mar 1845 so I had to use a date I knew was in the file). I also tested the Query by Example tab and it worked equally quickly. The system can run a check and repair with no problems reported. If I do not use date search, all works well until a date search. Anyone have a clue as to where to look for a solution? Re: [LegacyUG] Issue with Family Tree and Legacy Family Tree
Close Legacy Family Search Go to your Documents/Legacy Family Tree/Legacy FS folder. Delete the Store*.fsd file(s) from that folder. Restart Legacy Family Search LFS will probably prompt you for your FamilySearch login credentials. PS. If windows will not let you delete the *.fsd files with Legacy Open you may need to close Legacy as well as Legacy Family Search. Would appreciate it if that individual would resend that fix. Re: [LegacyUG] Issue with Family Tree and Legacy Family Tree
You should find that deleted email in your trash folder or trash bin. Atleast, I hope so. [LegacyUG] Issue with Family Tree and Legacy Family Tree
I inadvertently deleted an email this morning that had a solution for a problem that has occurred after upgrading to latest version of Family Tree 9. It dealt with that fact that names were not showing up when you clicked on the FamilySearch button to synchronize files and it would give you a "name not found." Would appreciate it if that individual would resend that fix. [LegacyUG] I have a crash problem
If I fire up legacy, then go to search, put in a date like 23 mar 1845 I get a not responding message. Then Windows says wait or close program. Waiting does no good and close kills the session. The second time round no problems. .It "seems" to be the first search after a start. The system can run a check and repair with no problems reported. If I do not use date search, all works well until a date search. Anyone have a clue as to where to look for a solution? Ian -- ICMac Sales: Hobby consultant (1986r.)
