Do I need to reply to thr many include me into the poetry group? I know u 
have suggested responding to the one requester but I can't locate that ONE 
person.

Ellen and all,

There is no need to reply at all to be included in the poetry 
discussion group. The discussion will be held on this list, in public, 
for all to see, read, participate in, or ignore, as desired. Nobody is 
keeping a list of who wants to play, nobody is keeping track of 
replies, nobody needs to know who wants to be in or out of the 
discussion.


Anyone who wants to read and discuss the book; no RSVP is required, 
needed, desired, or necessary.

Just to let everyone know that there is a 10,000 messages per hour
throttle on the Mosaic list. Without this sort of limit, organizations and
email providers can target our messages as spam. 

When list is very active it is common for messages to be help up for several
hours. Please accept this delay as part of keeping a delicate  balance so
that our messages stay under the radar for spam detection.

That said, everyone can help out by not re-posting a message if you don't
see it right away. Members can also help by not posting thank-you's, I
agree, or other terse messages that don't forward a conversation.

Thank you for posting that for the millionth time!! Some of the people who 
have been replying with the short messages are regulars. They should know 
better! It really clogs up one's e-mail.
