I tested on a different machine (but same version), and that seemed to
resolve it.

I created an issue here:

since that seems like a better way to track this now that I know this
was an actual issue.


Thanks Will.  I've merged this fix into the stable branch and will get a 
2.2.11 release out by this weekend.


If anyone else is having the problem, please give stable a try and let 
me (or the gitlab ticket) know about any problems.
