e-Campsis Workshop at PAGE 2024 in Rome

On Tuesday the 25th of June 2024, we will be hosting a 1-day workshop on
e-Campsis at the PAGE meeting in Rome.

As a participant you will get free access to e-Campsis pro. You will learn
how to:

   - Import a model from various sources (Campsis, model library, NONMEM)
   - Set up a trial design
   - Bootstrap covariates from an external source (e.g. NHANES)
   - Simulate specific individuals, a population or a clinical trial with
   uncertainty
   - Explore what-if scenarios thanks to the built-in scenario creator
   - Stratify and visualize the results with customizable plots
   - Post-process the results, derive useful metrics and summary statistics
and generate HTML tables in a few clicks
   - Create forest plots in an intuitive manner to assess the impact of
   covariates
   - Make a sensitivity analysis effortlessly and understand the
   limitations of your model

You will also learn how to reproduce the simulations offline in R thanks to
the open-source package campsis.

The following registration fee applies for this 1-day workshop:

Industry: € 300 excl. VAT

Academic: € 150 excl. VAT

Student:€ 100 excl. VAT

The fee includes the workshop material, lunch and coffee breaks as well as
temporary access to e-Campsis pro for 2 months. On top of it you will get a
50% discount on the annual subscription fee.

This course only requires limited knowledge of R, since all hands-on
exercises will be done in the web application. You should bring your own
laptop.

Please visit www.campsis.org, page "Workshop", for more information and
registration form. You can also send an e-mail to camp...@calvagone.com.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Rome! Meanwhile, please go ahead
and try e-Campsis free! https://calvagone.github.io/ecampsis.html

[NMusers] Release of a new version of e-Campsis

2023-08-24 Thread Emilie Henin
Dear all,

We are happy to announce the release of a new version of e-Campsis, the
free PK/PD simulator available at *http://e-campsis.com
*.

Motivated by your positive feedback after the first release a few weeks
ago, we focused our efforts and implemented some powerful new features.

It is now super easy to keep track of parameter names when editing your
model code. With a click of a button parameter names will be extracted from
your code and shown in a table where you can enter the values.

We also improved the way to enter observation times: just write a vector of
time points and enable the ‘time-after-dose’ checkbox. Your time points
will be repeated after each dosing event.

The best comes last! We have implemented a super easy way how you can
explore the impact of changes to parameter values. Want to see how a slower
absorption rate affects your PK profile? Or a faster elimination? Or both?
With a couple of clicks you can set up scenarios and compare them visually.

Check out this video *https://youtu.be/uypETm6aoNc
**c *for a
brief introduction to these new features.

We are working without rest on a pro-version of e-Campsis which will
include many additional features such as, import and automatic translation
of NONMEM code, post-processing of simulations to calculate NCA parameters
and summarize them in a table, easy saving and loading of simulation
projects and much more.

We plan to have a beta version ready in Q4 this year.

Please stay tuned and meanwhile enjoy e-Campsis free!
