Problems getting Playlists To Play In Winamp
I've got a play list that plays just fine if you start it in the Winamp library, but when I export it out to a .M3U playlist and hit enter on it, Winamp will open, but it will quickly go through the song titles in the playlist until it gets to the end, but it won't ever start playing the music. I know the songs play just fine on their own, because I went to the folder where they are stored, and tried them one at a time. And like I said the playlist in the library plays just fine. I've even tried recreating the playlist file using other sources, but I still can't get Winamp to start playing them. Any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, because I don't want to have to open Winamp's library every time I want to play those Albums. Re: book sense. vs plextalk
The difference will be in the features that APH decides to include in their firmware since they will be the ones that write it. There is a podcast on Blind Cool Tech, that could have benefited from some normalization, which nevertheless shows off many of the current features of the Bookport Plus. Like the Plextalk Pocket, the future support for Wi-Fi will be a major feature of the Bookport Plus. I am using game day audio. I ddid speak with a rep who gave me this address and it works really well. You can control the volume and everything with the normal cursor. MLB.COM has changed things, as usual for those of us who want to hear the audio feeds of our favorite teams. Before you figure that it means more trouble for those of us who use assistive technology, I have good news. The player that everybody uses is quite useable. Here's how to reach it. First, go to http://mlb.com Once the page loads, look for the word VIDEO on the page, and activate this link. You'll find a table on this page with all the video and audio feeds. Select the feed you want. A new window should open. At this point, if you haven't done it yet, log onto your account. You'll hear the audio of the game at a quite reduced volume. Now comes the fun. With JAWS 11, you'll need to turn off the virtual cursor. Do this with INSERT+Z. Then hit U to increase the volume or D to decrease it. Once you have the volume set to where you want, hit INSERT+Z to turn on the virtual cursor. I don't know how to turn off the similar feature in Window-Eyes, or what it's called. That's what I've discovered about the player so far. I noticed you can switch between the home and away feed of the game. Also, there is an FAQ specificly written for use with screen readers, and they mention JAWS. I originally wasn't going to subscribe to what was called Gameday Audio, which this year is MLB At Bat. I have XM, which broadcasts the home feeds of MLB games. I then remembered that I could hear archived games, and the white noise from the crowd is a nice thing for me to go to sleep with. I'm sure glad I subscribed. Right now I'm hearing the Reds beating the Cubs. This is quite unique. Usually, when I write notes like this, they're getting killed. Perhaps this is a sign of things to come. Just thought I'd share. Have a good day, and don't work too hard. Book Port Plus and the Plextalk Pocket [was "RE: book sense. vs plextalk"]
The difference would be in the firmware and software that runs on the hardware. The user interface could be different and the hardware could be taken advantage of in different ways. This wouldn't be unlike two identical PC's, one running Windows and one running Linux, or maybe a better example is two identical MP3 players, one running the players native software and firmware and the other running Rockbox. I highly recommend MLB At Bat for this year
Hi. I have to admit to not using it much these days, better solutions around however if you're a registered owner of the software and you have nothing else then its come a long way and results of ripping - as I previously mentioned with the later versions - are incredibly accurate, nearly as good as what you get with Exact Audio Copy for Windows and XLD with the Mac. Yes perhaps their is a way for instance to easyally organize track order when burning CDs. Using jfw10/11 found those later versions frustrating even using the audio converter navigating the list of files selected was difficult. -Original Message- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Dane Trethowan Sent: Saturday, 10 April 2010 8:38 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: Easy CD DA Extractor That's one of those subjective things, for example if I use Easy CD DA extractor with System Access To Go I don't have a problem whatever with accessibility. Re: Easy CD DA Extractor
That's one of those subjective things, for example if I use Easy CD DA extractor with System Access To Go I don't have a problem whatever with accessibility. Shame because later versions than 11 have heaps of fixes in the ripping of CD'S which make results far more accurate, numerous fixes in encoders etc. On 10/04/2010, at 6:54 PM, Jamie Kelly wrote: > > I've found versions later than 11 not as accessible. > > > -Original Message- > From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] > On Behalf Of Sunshine > Sent: Saturday, 10 April 2010 1:42 PM > To: PC Audio Discussion List > Subject: Re: Easy CD DA Extractor > > the ultimate and professional are the same > so when you update your software you are using the ultamate version instead > > of the professional which esenchelly is the same. > > - Original Message - > From: "Dane Trethowan" > To: "PC Audio Discussion List" > Sent: Friday, April 09, 2010 9:39 PM > Subject: Easy CD DA Extractor > > > Hi! > > I own a licence for Easy CD DA Extractor professional so I'm wondering what > the differences are between Easy CD DA Extractor Profession, Premium and > Ultimate, is the software the same and the licencing just different? RE: Easy CD DA Extractor
Hi If you have a license, I believe it's free up-dates for life. If you go to their website, log in using your e-mail address and serial key, you can get the downloads free of charge. One thing though, if you install the ultimate version, it doesn't remove the previous version so you will have to copies installed which is unnecessary. Regards Adrien You can get me off list at: adriencollins22...@googlemail.com Speakon is a free fully self-voicing accessible multimedia program for the visually impaired, find out more by downloading the software from: http://www.a-technic.net/speakon.htm You can join the speakon user group by sending a blank e-mail to: speakon-subscr...@yahoogroups.com -Original Message- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Dane Trethowan Sent: Saturday, April 10, 2010 3:40 AM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Easy CD DA Extractor Hi!
