Bose SoundTouch App
Anyone had any success using the Bowse SoundTouch IOS App to use the Bowse music system? Many of the functions don't match eg, double tap on settings and your nowhere where you should be on the screen. Also the PC App for set up is totally not usable with a screen reader. RE: Bose SoundTouch App
This is very disturbing indeed. Especially from Bose who kind of knows blind people use their products I was going to say, but then I remind my self that they weren't aware of the idea of using any of the lifestyle systems with an HT PC. Inother words, Software isn't a real big thing. -Original Message- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Jamie Kelly Sent: Thursday, May 01, 2014 7:10 AM To: 'PC Audio Discussion List' Subject: Bose SoundTouch App Anyone had any success using the Bowse SoundTouch IOS App to use the Bowse music system? Re: charging the h800 headset
Okay, to get this all straightened out and this comes from someone who owns a Logitech H800 headset - that someone is me smile. -. The Headset has a USB Micro port on the right hand side for charging though it could possibly be used for other things like firmware updates? That I'm not sure of but its main purpose is for charging. You would have received a micro USB plug to standard USB connector lead with the headset which is for the use of charging the headset, you plug one end into the headset whilst the other end plugs into a standard USB socket on a computer, external battery, power supply or whatever, the voltage is the same about 5 volts. Whilst the headset is charging it can be used hence the rather lengthy USB connecting cable supplied. The H800 headset has 2 wireless modes, one is Bluetooth 2.0 - for use with Smart Phones etc - and Wireless 2.4GHZ - for use with your computer using the supplied dongle -. The dongle plugs into a USB socket of your computer and will be recognised by Windows, Mac etc as a separate sound device so you can for example configure such software as Skype to recognise the microphone of the H800 and the speakers being the H800 headset. When not in use the dongle stores away in a handy compartment found on the left hand side of the headset under a cap, rotate anti clockwise and the cap comes off revealing 2 compartments, one for the rechargeable lithium ion battery and the other for storage of the dongle, replace the cap and turn clockwise, the cap will snap back into place. Any Home for My Hope for Pandora on My New Windows 7 Machine?
Hey Guys, I have an activated copy of Hope for Pandora on my old Vista machine. I installed it onto my new Windows 7 machine, but apparently I need to activate it before I can use it. I wrote to Support ten days ago but have gotten no response. Do I have to buy the program again to get it to work on this new machine? I kind of resent having to do that, especially from a company that promises support but apparently doesn’t really provide it. Anyone have any ideas as to how I can get my legally purchased copy of Hope to run on my new machine? Thanks much. Evan
Re: Any Home for My Hope for Pandora on My New Windows 7 Machine?
Hi Evan. I recently got a new Win 7 machine to replace my Vista machine that died; since I've got the Hope program transferred to the new machine before the old one died, I went to the program and looked for the Options section; there should be a button that says something like resend my activation key. I did this, got my key, pasted it in where it needed to go and Hope is now running on both my Win 7 mechines. You might try running the program and put in your Pandora login info, then there should be a dialog with a Resend activation key button; give this a shot. If Hope support isn't writing back that can really suck. I understand the suthor is not so nice when people write him with questions, so try what I mentioned above. Thanks. Hi Peter, Unfortunately, there's only stuff about a proxy server, default audio device, and use multimedia controls in the Options dialogue box. There's nothing about resending activation. I'll keep looking. Hello, Can you tell me Where to get this hope software? Thank you, -Original Message- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Peter Russillo Sent: Thursday, May 01, 2014 4:34 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: Any Home for My Hope for Pandora on My New Windows 7 Machine? Thanks. Evan

Oh hell yeah he can do what evs with it, it's just before you do take it down, how about making the stuff available so people can nab it before. I mean, I found epic stuff later on that I didn't nab. There's also the question of people wanting to re save stuff. That's all. Now in the particular case we are talking about here, we maybe in luck.
