Hi Brian,
There's a very accessible program, well actually, its an entire pack of
programs. It's called free audio/video pack. I happen to have it and would
be happy to send it to you if you'd like. You can certainly convert mp4 to
mp3 with it.

For those of you with lots of cash who want what is suppose to be one
of the best headphones around, Amazon has the hd700 for 500 bucks,
which is half of what they list for. I have never heard these. And
having purchased the B earlier this year, I can't possibly justify
springing for these. But for those who love headphones and listen at
home through a good system, this looks like a good deal.

The iPhone 6S isn’t all that much thicker though technology has changed of
course between then and now.

At least one could say that the speaker of that iPod touch was certainly
audible unlike that of the Victor Reader Scream and that’s one of the mysteries

thing that can be said is that - in the case of the Victor Reader Stream 1ST

To be honest I may have my “Gens” confused for the very reason you state, “Its
Been Along Time Between Drinks” and it may very well be the 5th gen I’m talking
about, that model had the A4 processor and the terrible speaker.

A gen came after that - the previous Gen to the new release - and it was a
better performer apparently and had an upgraded processor.

Well, the 5th gen touch had gotten a bit long in the tooth. Didn't it
have the same processor in it as the 4s or maybe even the 4? I know
Apple went a couple or 3 years between iPod touch upgrades, so long in

There’s a new generation of iPod Touch available so surely it would want to
have improved on the 4th generation Touch which I think was the first or second
one to be able to use Voiceover, I’m thinking about the new Touch so will be
most eager to hear from those who have one and what the speaker sounds like.

I know others who had the previous generation which I think was the 5th and
they said that Apple had improved the internal speaker but the 5TH has gone the
way of other Apple products in that running the latest IOS with VoiceOver is a
“drag” quite literally .

My favourite headphone store has these cans for $999 Australian so will go down
there and take a listen.

Unfortunately Addicted To Audio no longer sell any Sony headphones so I’m going
to have to chase them up somewhere else, the Sony pair was the next I had
planned to buy - MDRZ7 I think is the model number - so I’ll either get the
Sony of the Senheiser.

I haven’t forgotten about the AKG cans we’ve been discussing, Addicted To Audio
sells those thank Goodness.

For those in Australia here’s a link to the Senheiser cans at Addicted To Audio

You’re right on the money with your assessment in my view.

I too had the iPhone 5S and - whilst I wouldn’t call the internal speaker in
that bad - the 6S’s speaker is something to die for in comparison.

The worst internal speaker I’ve ever heard is that found in the first
generation Victor Reader Scream followed by that found in the 4th Generation
iPod touch, those were absolute shockers.

Re: iPhone 6S And Audio: First Impressions

2015-11-25 Thread hamitcampos
Yeah man let me know. I don't think they are. Well I don't know about the
blutooth ones. But The IPhone was supposed to support lausless music formats.
Um apparently this hasn't happened. I don't know what the deal is.

Obviously this is only part of the audio experience with an iPhone but a
huge part nevertheless and that speaker means a lot to those of us who use
speech with a device or choose to use it when answering calls quickly
using the built-in internal Speakerphone.

Ever since I owned my first iPhone 3GS I’ve enjoyed the privilege of
hearing the quality of that little speaker improve with each model so - in
that way alone - each successive model of iPhone has been worth upgrading
to from the previous version.

Apart from that nothing else seems to have changed much in the time since
I last used an iPhone though I’m still to find out whether the latest
Bluetooth lossless streaming profiles are supported, if they’re not
supported at this time then it surely can’t be too long until they are.
