Right, it isn't accessible and I tryed a paid subscription and was very
dissapointed.
It is sad. because one could get some cool music.
I recorded some but, it was not easy.
If there are any scripts, that would be awsem.

Hello Randy and Joe, Spotify is not that accessible, as Joe rightly said,
you can type in what you want and then listen to things but you can't hear
the search results, however I did find that if you press the read line or
title bar hotkey, it will read out the song you are listening to. Also, you
can join Spotify without being invited, and the free service allows you to
listen to songs only 5 times and there is a time limit. They only recently
changed their free service. Spotify unlimited, which allows you to listen to
limitless songs without adds costs £4.99. I think an ap could be written for
Window-Eyes, and I'm not sure if there are scripts for Jaws available for
it.

Hello,

Spottify is a service by which you can listen to an almost limitless
selection of songs in a wide range of genras. As far as I could tell,
there's no ability to listen to radio stations.

You can only join Spotify if someone who is already a member sends you an
invitation. When you are accepted, there are two levels of entry. The free
one gives you access to everything but there are ads. I don't remember what
the fee is but it's worth it if you need to access lots of songs.

You are given an edit box in which you place your search term. The problem
for me was that, having done that, I couldn't read the search results. It
appears to me that the list generated from the search is printed in a non
ASCII form.
I hope someone finds a way around the access issue because it's a great
service. No, you cannot download; you'd have to record the song.

Joe G.

iPhone/iPad/iPod manipulation software

2011-10-21 Thread Dane trethowan

Hi!

The software at http://ibackuper.com/ allows the user to backup and
manipulate contents of an iPhone/iPad/Ipod device so you could for
example backup content from your iPhone and copy it over to your shiny
brand new iPod without having to run iTunes, so far so good.

The big problem is that the software referenced here would appear to be
very much inaccessible, I can see the IOS device on the screen but can't
find a way of accessing it, I've clicked around but its obvious I'm
missing something or other.

Does anyone know of an anternative software solution?

Bluetooth adapter.

2011-10-21 Thread Dave Scrimenti
I want to listen to music, shows, etc, with bluetooth, but want to use my own
headphones. Can anyone recommend an adapter that I can plug my own headphones
in to? I tried the Jabra, but had problems getting it to work well.

Try:

Cost $30 a year but you can cancel the ongoing subscription once you pay.
