Re: Mouse/trackball question

2023-03-14 Thread Comcast
A Wacom tablet is best but there’s a learning curve. Although I think you’ll
spend some time growing accustomed to any new tool. Me? I use Apple’s Magic
Mouse. A Mickey Mouse device, but I’ve been using a conventional mouse in
photoshop for 25 years.

Mouse/trackball question

2023-03-14 Thread Rick Womer
I have been using a Logitech trackball for my photo computer for years, and it
is wearing out. It has a red ball operated by one’s right thumb, and a vertical
scroll wheel and two buttons operated by index and second fingers.

What should I replace it with?

I have a Kensington Expert Mouse on my work computer; it has a huge trackball,
four buttons, and a scroll wheel surrounding the track ball. I tried it on the
photo computer and it was awkward.

Other suggestions?

The good news is that the tree did not fall on my house. The better news is
that my neighbor had just gotten out of the chair the tree landed on.

This is actually Pentax related since John had a Pentax

Nice set, Rick. It's nice to see some color, as spring color has not yet
reached us here Central Jersey, except for the crocuses.

The first image is a classic example of the Red Shirt School of Photography.

I did Cotty, :-) but when I power the unit on there is a click sound, then
the lights come on, the print head does not go through a cycle so I can't
use your suggestions. The internet shows there being a well of sorts that
can be accessed at the back, i have no such access door on the printer, so
i'm stymied.
