Bill, we have had good fortune here too. Every previous dog we've had was accompanied by a cat or two. We are up to three cats now and our previous dog, who just passed a month ago at age 13, got along famously with all of them. In fact one of our cats -- a Russian Blue -- has been so distraught since Tessa died, his depression moved us to try and find another dog to keep _him_ company. And also so I'd get out and walk more to keep exercised. :) We're going to wait a while before we look again though, at least until my IT contract workload reduces.
