It strikes me as an entirely non-trivial matter - which of the two -
the real one or the Vegas replica has been seen by more people. It
very well may be that the replica is the genuine article, so to say.

When I immigrated to the U.S. in 1967 my family came by ship (the
Queen Elizabeth I). I guess that, aside from refugees on rafts and

My brother just dug out some old photos we took from inside the head/crown back 
in 1975.  Even back then as a small kid, I felt it was too crowded and maybe a 
little dangerous.  

Glad we got to go in there while we could, though!

In the end, it probably doesn't matter. The Vegas statue is a replica and the 
image on the stamp is tiny.
