Re: Peso Remains
I like the composition and toning, but agree with Godfrey that it's a bit flat. Maybe a little work with the dodge and burn tools - darkening the corners, lightening the center near the cabin - would add some snap to the shot. One of my favorite old darkroom books (the Morgan Morgan darkroom guide) has a comment to the effect that burning in the edges of a print will imrprove almost any photograph - a sweeping generalization but one that seems to be more or less true! I do like the sepia effect and the old time feel though. - MCC --- David J Brooks [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6518161 Did some playing this past weekend with the onboard filters with the Fn button. In PSCS i applied a bit of cyan photofilter. I know its not as great as what PS could do, but its pleseantly ok. Re: Peso Remains
Thanks to all who commented. Seems this ones a winner, which is good,a s i really like this one. It is a bit to sepia even using the low setting on the camera, and i did tone it down a bit with the photofilter. The camera atleast does not over ride the phot but makes a copy, so i'll trya standard BW rendering. Subdued light seems best for these type of shots, and that what we had all weekend.:-) This look similar to the one at the horse farm, but in better shape.:-) I was trying for that old time feel, glad i was able to do that.
