We have an old heritage train that runs out of Stouffville to Uxbridge
on summer weekends. I really should get my butt over to the station
and take the trip.

found time to look, I'm more than embarrased that I have not

Ann, it still is a station, sorta. Amtrak is in the basement, a small waiting
room and ticket counter near the tracks. The main building is now a Science
Museum, a nice restaurant and then some restaurant spaces that host a series of
failing entrepreneurs who haven't figured out that sales volume is important.
'Tis a beautiful space that has outlived its purpose. When Meg was serving in
Jeff City 10-12 years ago, she would come home by train Thursday or Friday
nights, I would meet her at the train, we'd have a late dinner there . . .
good times.
