We have an old heritage train that runs out of Stouffville to Uxbridge on summer weekends. I really should get my butt over to the station and take the trip. Ann, it still is a station, sorta. Amtrak is in the basement, a small waiting room and ticket counter near the tracks. The main building is now a Science Museum, a nice restaurant and then some restaurant spaces that host a series of failing entrepreneurs who haven't figured out that sales volume is important. 'Tis a beautiful space that has outlived its purpose. When Meg was serving in Jeff City 10-12 years ago, she would come home by train Thursday or Friday nights, I would meet her at the train, we'd have a late dinner there . . . good times. stan On Feb 8, 2012, at 3:22 PM, Ann Sanfedele wrote: On 2/8/2012 13:47, David J Brooks wrote: On Wed, Feb 8, 2012 at 10:37 AM, Bob Sullivanrf.sulli...@gmail.com wrote: I love trains, and this month's PUG is MAGIC for me.
