Argh. Ya know in the old days we could sharpen that up to be crystal  
with a little spit on a camel hair brush dipped in retouching colors.  
Only the eyes need to be perfect. The rest, not so much!   :-)

Wonderful expression.  That's one of those 'if only' shots.  Could have
been particularly spectacular if only you'd nailed the focus...

Like I said, I really really really missed focus, Focus.  That's full 
frame with three doses of focus correction.  My first attempt looked a 
bit more natural but I screwed something else up, (deleted, I can't 
remember what I didn't like).  I'm putting up with the over-sharpened 
look for now.  Maybe I'll revisit when I feel a bit less beat.  Major 
heat wave going on here, no air, and I only really want to drink Iced 
Tea, and vegetate.

My son went thru that, after he moved out.
A couple of tattoos, a tongue stud... sighhh.

But, he finally grew up and made the decision for himself, as kids do.
No metallic ornamentation anymore.


I've always thought that it must be a real PIA getting through airport
security with 5 pounds of metal poked through various part of the
body.  Hell, I know enough guys and gals with a piercing fetish;  I
should axe them.

That photo was taken several years ago, and I was chatting with the
lovely Natalka the other day.  I noticed that the piercing on her
lower lip is now gone, with no trace of a hole (that I could see).

She thought the pic was funny, especially now that she's all growed up
(and quite the beautiful young lady...).
