Nice, it has a quiet lonely feel to it.

Putting her, pretty much halfway between the middle and the “third point” made
me take longer for my eyes to find her, which emphasized the emptimenss and
loneliness. The someone flat lighting also contributes to that mood.

I know. I had two istD. I was being facetious. BTW, I have a good K5 with
battery grip you can have for $200. It's good to at least ISO 3200. 6400 is
useable as well.

water.

I thought after posting that the title wasn't the best but I'm too lazy to

Thanks for the nice words, Rick!

Thanks for commenting Malcolm.

As for the D H Day Barns, They both were shot with on a tripod @ 400 ISO,
the color image was shot @1/50 sec f/11, while the B+W image was taken
@1/25 sec f/16. In both, IIRC, I manually focused on the close part of the
fence.

The barn is adjacent to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in the

Re: PESO: Waiting

2014-06-05 Thread Daniel J. Matyola
I previously posted a version of the banana peel image as a seperate
PESO, captioned Apeeling. I guess you missed it.

Most of the images in that folder are straight out of the camera, and
not meant to public viewing. The images in Sardi's show that I ate in
front of Samuel L Jackson's image, only to run into him, two rows in
front of us, at Raisin in the Sun. His wife is one of the stars of
the show, and has been nominated for a Tony.

I don't really understand what you mean by going off the screen.
Does that mean they are too large for your screen and you can't see
the entire image, or does it mean they are disappearing?
