Re: PESOs: Backyard Birds

2024-04-30 Thread Rick Womer
What Henk and Alan said! I have always enjoyed your bird photos.

I’m particularly fond of white throated sparrows for their song. Philly isn’t
in their range, so I con’t hear their song until we go to a New Hampshire lake
for a vacation during the summer. That’s my “happy place,” and this bird
contributes to my enjoyment.

Re: PESOs Backyard Birds

2017-02-12 Thread ann sanfedele
They're all nice, but I slightly favor the woody cause I love them so,
and the nuthatch in is traditional upsidedown pose.
However photo.net is now really pissing me off. In order to see the
entire photo of the landscape oriented shots I have to reduce my
settings to 67% using the ctrl "-" combo. portrait orientation means
50%. that is true for all of you on photo-net (I am too, but I never
look at my stuff there anymore) and some

flikker pages are difficult in the same way.

when I send links out to the world of my smugmug stuff I make sure I can
see the whole shot on my screen, which may be too small for some of you,
but each image has a little sizer on the bottom right to make it larger
or smaller.. OTOH people are telling me that the entire gallery blinks
at you before landing on the single shot I'm showing... at least on
galleries where the gallery style is smugmug classic.. sigh
