I had to fondle it a bit for Debian (which doesn't seem to like the Plugins directory at all...) but the only thing I see missing from the old version is the way Similar Artists To stations were created on the fly. (Ie, play a song from your library and a new station showed up in LastFM.) But it scrobbles and plays fine: it actually seems faster at switching tracks when you hit Skip, too... The similar artists selection should still be there - where were you looking? As of the current version in SlimScrobbler CVS, the only issue I'm aware of is that it doesn't work properly on SB1/Slimp3 models. It will stop all audio output from working after the first song. I haven't been able to get the station changing working for a while, but the now playing info works fine for me. According to discussion on the LastFM forums, now playing is broken for most 3rd party players, so it's a bit puzzling that it works for me! I'm looking into using the new protocol but it's significantly different - you get a different URL from LastFM for each track and then play them one by one - so it's going to take a while. Tried again for the first time in a while (used to use last.fm a lot more before the problems!) and I still can't change stations. Also, track names no longer seem to display. Hopefully this is just a temporary issue with LastFM - is anyone else having issues? It may turn out to be a bigger issue, as recently LastFM's own client software moved over to an entirely new streaming infrastructure. There is no documention on the new system available and I'm not sure if it will be made available for others to use, as LastFM have said that the old streaming system will continue to be available.
